The hostel/accommodation facility is administered under the supervision of the Institute. A designated Hostel Warden/Caretaker is responsible for coordinating hostel-related matters, maintaining discipline, attending to student concerns and ensuring compliance with the rules of the Institute.
Students residing in the hostel are required to observe the prescribed hostel rules and maintain proper discipline, cleanliness and decorum.
Where applicable, UBS may facilitate accommodation for eligible students during examination periods to support their academic requirements. Such accommodation is subject to availability, prior approval and the terms prescribed by the Institute.
UBS gives due importance to the safety and security of students residing in hostel facilities:
UBS maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy towards ragging, harassment, or misconduct of any form. Students residing in hostels are required to fully comply with the Institute's Anti-Ragging Policy.
Any complaint relating to ragging or misconduct can be reported immediately to the Anti-Ragging Committee or Warden.
